Originally released on Rebirth in 2010 'Boing Pop' and 'Kisses From New York With Love' by Tevo Howard gets a re-release due to big demand !
One of the most watched artists to emerge from Chicago's house scene in the last few years Tevo's productions have tapped into a rich vein of the city's deeply rooted heritage and duly attracted a lot of attention from House heads the world over. And Rebirth has been the first European label to release his music.
Warm and Emotional with a Raw and Hypnotic vibe like all Tevo's productions, 'Boing Pop' is authentic deep house with a touch of acid, rememberings of Phuture Trax, perfectly recreated by Tevo with the same kind of intensity as its inventors ! The Original has been edited and remastered, and the package include a brand new mix from Melbourne’s man of the moment Francis Inferno Orchestra, responsible for a great rework cutting the original beats and bass, adding some spoken vocals, and building the track on a subtle piano stab and pads which drive you to heaven !
After the recent success of their expansive debut full length on Idle Hands, Bristol based producers Jacob Hodge and Matt Lambert Aka Outboxx rework Boing Pop with a twisted cubby version plenty of analogue dust and some heavyweight bass Studio Barnhus's boss Kornél Kovács (together with Petter Nordkvist and Axel Boman) reinvents the track with an amazing bass-driven, vocal-laced spooky house jam !
The 12” includes also a remastered version of 'Kisses from New York With Love' with a remix from Inkswel.
