In the early 90s, a new wave of music emerged in Italy. Inspired by a deep sense of freedom and a desire to experiment, a generation of Italian DJs and producers envisioned the sound of the future. This movement was fueled by the turmoil of the club scene and record shops of the time. As all the planets aligned, an invasion of celestial bodies occurred.
Already tipped as one of the most interesting and sought-after electronic music collections of recent years, "Ciao Italia! "Generazioni Underground" returns in 2024 with a special "Bonus" edition. This album, set for release on March 15th includes songs from the limited vinyl bonus parts, as well as additional titles specifically licensed for this release, making it even more precious.
Surfing between the past, present, and future, "Ciao Italia. Bonus" delves deeper into the origins of an era whose sounds and atmospheres continue to inspire us today. It connects two generations that are distant yet neighboring: the one that wrote the story of the electronic Italian music scene in the Early Nineties and the one that continues to follow it Today with a futuristic perspective. "Ciao Italia" is not a nostalgic or commemorative operation, but rather a driving force for potential evolution.
Featuring new tracks, new protagonists, and a new journey that involves other seminal producers from that golden age of Italian music like Piero Fidelfatti, Gianni Bini & Leo Rosi (as G-Connection), Leo Young, Alex Neri & Marco Baroni, Ivan Iacobucci, Harley & Muscle, Steve Mantovani, Marco Capaccioni (Spinapsys), Enrico Pannuto (Nasty Dolls), Franco Falsini (Open Spaces), Dan-E-MC, Daniele Mad, Franco Diaferia (K3M), Joe Montana, Oneiric and Vortex. But also productions from artists of the current "Underground Italian Generation," such as Brioski (as City Strike), Populous, Ma Spaventi, GNMR (Gianmaria Coccoluto), TiEs, Hiver, Lorenzo Morresi and Feel Fly.
